Verification notes

  • ADDA: official about page identifies an international nonprofit focused exclusively on adult ADHD and virtual support/community.
  • ADHD Europe: official about and member-directory pages identify a European umbrella of national and regional organizations.
  • CADDAC: official site identifies a Canadian national charity and lists education, resource navigation, support and advocacy programs.
  • ADHD Ireland: official site presents current 2026 activities, charity identifiers, a support line and education/events.
  • ADHD Australia: official about page identifies a 100% volunteer national charity and describes education, employment, healthcare and advocacy work.
  • APDA Peru: official page states that the organization was registered in 2002, was founded by professionals and mothers, and provides ADHD information and educational activities.
  • Taiwan ADHD Association: official site describes a public-interest body serving people with ADHD, families and teachers through consultation, education, activities and advocacy.
  • ADHD Foundation UK: the retained website is not evidence of current operation. Its trustees' 2025-08-30 statement says the charity ceased trading and was entering a formal insolvency process expected to end in liquidation; it is retained as a historical organization.

Geographic gaps

Targeted web searches repeated on 2026-08-30 corrected the earlier Asia/Latin America gap by locating and fetching qualifying bodies in Taiwan and Peru. The same search did not yield a clearly patient-led national ADHD organization in Africa with an accessible official site; that dated result describes search coverage, not absence of advocacy or organizations.
