Coverage limits

The sources do not adequately represent low- and middle-income countries, rural patients, people lost before specialty referral, patients with severe encephalopathy who cannot participate in interviews, adolescents/young adults, or people whose HCC is discovered outside surveillance. Public web retrieval was limited by site blocking and TLS behavior. Manufacturer-supported qualitative research contributes useful patient concepts but is overrepresented. No private social-media posts, closed groups, or individual stories were collected.
